A Magazine Curated By celebrated the launch of our 24th issue curated by Erdem Moralioglu MBE over a candlelit dinner on Thursday, November 26th at Sessions Arts Club, London.
An evening in Florence with Grace Wales Bonner
Harry’s Bar Firenze
On Tuesday, June 14th, 2022 at Pitti Uomo N°102 in Florence, A Magazine Curated By and MATCHESFASHION hosted an aperitivo and seated dinner at Harry’s Bar Firenze in honour of A#22 curator Grace Wales Bonner, celebrating the WALES BONNER Spring 2023 collection ‘Horizon Blues’.
At the WALES BONNER show prior, a monumental installation by the Ghanaian artist Ibrahim Mahama transformed the Palazzo Riccardo Medici with an intervention covering the architectural space with jute sacks hand stitched together by local collaborators, revealing instances of exchange while leaving behind material traces and intertwined histories for future generations.
Guests dined on a traditional Florentine menu and received A Magazine Curated By Grace Wales Bonner adorned with sodalite: a crystal known for promoting calm, emotional balance and rational thought.
Special thanks to Matches Fashion, Pitti Immagine, PR Consulting Paris and Wales Bonner

Part of an immersive environment for the Bottega Veneta SS2023 show by Matthieu Blazy, the Italian design pioneer Gaetano Pesce created a collection of whimsical chairs entitled Come Stai? — currently on show at Design Miami.
Issue No.24 is a cross-cultural, time-travelling exploration of the British-Turkish designer Erdem Moralioglu’s diverse range of sociological and aesthetic references that centres upon the disruptive figures of crucial periods in our collective history.
Recycling Beauty, a new exhibition at the Fondazione Prada in the southern reaches of Milan, conjures inertia and posits its contents as a contemporary cipher with which to decode the wonders of a distant past.
Passed down from the namesake founder Valentino Garavani to current creative director and A#20 curator Pierpaolo Piccioli, the colour red is a testament to both the reverence of history and visionary interpretation of Valentino codes imbued by each designer.
