Haider Ackermann used his Autumn/Winter 2020 collection as a tribute to his all-time favorite songs. While in the show’s tracklist, the lyrics to Leonard Cohen’s “I’m Your Man”, David Bowie’s “Absolute Beginners”, Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” or Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” were embroidered on a series of silhouettes, both feminine and masculine. This culminated in a quote by American poet Dorothy Parker written on a coat’s back: “But I shall stay the way I am, because I do not give a damn”.
