A LAUNCH OF N°19 A MAGAZINE CURATED BY KIM JONES
London, UK, May 3rd 2019.
On May 29th 2019, A Magazine Curated By and Dior celebrated the launch N°19 curated by Kim Jones in London. Held at Two Temple Place, a Neo Gothic mansion on the bank’s of the Thames, we welcomed contributors and friends of the magazine who discovered Kim’s issue for the first time in the flesh. Throughout the building’s two woodwood-paneled floors, parlour vignettes were constructed with framed artwork and photography from the issue, creating cosy corners for respite from DJ Honey Dijon’s dance party on the light up dance floor. What might have been the centrepiece of the night was Kim Jones’ artist alphabet – commissioned artworks by the designer’s friends, collaborators and artists as the theme and through line of his issue – which hung in running the walls of the first floor balcony in the main atrium.
Guests included Bella Hadid, Peter Phillips, Sue Tilley, Baillie Walsh, Kelly Osbourne, Archie Allen, Lily Allen, Jefferson Hack, Nikolai Von Bismarck, Nick Knight, Lottie Moss, Giorgio Moroder, Blondey, Ronnie Cooke-Newhouse, Camilla Lowther, Ibrahim Kamara, and cover stars Ludwig Willsdorf and Sakua Kambong.
