OBJETSDEVIE – Cono 925

Italian jewellery designer and A#14 curator Delfina Delettrez launched OBJETSDEVIE during the Autumn Winter 2022 Haute Couture shows in Paris, creating a custom shiso-yoghurt flavoured ice cream with Folderol, Paris to unveil her Cono 925 and Cono 750 ice cream cones in sterling silver and diamond-studded platinum.
The OBJETSDEVIE collection is a previous revival of nostalgic objects for the home, including the ice cream cone, cocktail stick and shot glass.
For the digital release of the Cono 925, Delfina Delettrez Fendi stars in a continuous shot short film inspired by a Rube Goldberg machine.
Removing a string of pearls and dropping them into a suspended bucket, Delfina sets off a 30-second chain reaction of obstacles and DIY mechanisms to reveal the platinum and diamond Cono 750 at the other end.

A Studio Visit with Nicklas Skovgaard
When I arrived at Nicklas Skovgaard’s Copenhagen studio, he was standing outside in the snow sipping a small cup of coffee and smoking a cigarette. He wore a navy-blue Nike baseball cap and a simple navy coat over a button-up shirt and trousers, the kind of pared-back outfit that has become something of a uniform for him.
