The ‘carte blanche’ freedom for a designer to create an issue of A Magazine produces unique results every time. Join our editors behind the scenes with Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli as we reveal key themes and projects inside our 20th issue. Directed by Paris-based filmmaker Alexandre Silberstein, this short documentary film takes a look behind the scenes of photo shoots with Charles H. Traub and Joel Meyerowitz in Rome and Nettuno, with on-the-fly footage shot by our teams on the ground. Flipping through the magazine’s pages, discover Pierpaolo’s keen eye for juxtaposing classical and contemporary artworks and scenes of everyday Italian life with the glamour of haute couture.
