A Magazine Curated By celebrated the launch of our 24th issue curated by Erdem Moralioglu MBE over a candlelit dinner on Thursday, November 26th at Sessions Arts Club, London. The British-Turkish fashion designer and creative director of his eponymous label ERDEM invited family, friends and contributors to the intimate affair, hosted in collaboration with MATCHESFASHION.
Within the storied walls of the 18th century courthouse, guests enjoyed a menu crafted by chef Florence Knight and a musical assortment of 80s classics played by pianist Xavior Roide. The evening began with speeches by editor-in-chief Dan Thawley and Erdem himself, poignantly thanking the collaborators featured within the issue.
Guests included Keira Knightley, James Righton, Alexa Chung, Neil Tennant, Jenna Coleman, Sheila Atim, Maria Balshaw, Nicholas Cullinan, Nadine Ijewere, Omari Douglas, Christopher Kane, Simone Rocha, Nick Beighton, Ola-Oluwa Ebiti, Emma Elwick-Bates, Charlie Porter, Frances von Hofmannsthal, Sarah Mower, Anj Smith, Tim Blanks, Charlene Prempeh, Maureen Paley, Jerry Stafford, Raven Smith, Thomas Persson, Tish Weinstock, Tom Guinness, William Waterworth, Kaye Donachie, Olgaç Bozalp and Trinity Ellis.
The Swedish artist’s monographic exhibition at David Zwirner Paris ponders heartbreak and nostalgia whilst blurring the textures of reality.
The American artist muses on the light of the end of the tunnel during this prolific period between his exhibition at David Zwirner and his sculpture for Frieze.
