Jil Sander

Lucie and Luke Meier presented their collection in a vast industrial space in Milan’s Via Bramante, soon to be transformed into the largest design museum in Europe. With the museum set to open this year, the Jil Sander artistic directors took an opportunity to merge their love for design and their contemporary fashion through a scenography recalling the game of musical chairs. On a composition by London-based Quatuor Balanescu, models progressed slowly around two rows of wooden chairs before taking their seats, letting the audience appreciate the craftsmanship and crisp lines of the clothes.
